1st Application: The first application should be applied after you have mowed your lawn in the spring and the ground temperature remains at 54 degrees or above. 21-00-10 with Dimension is a fertilizer that also contains a crabgrass and annual weed preemergent. A 40 lb. bag will cover up to 11,111 sq. ft. of your lawn.
2nd Application: The second application should be applied between June 15th and July 1st. 25-00-14 with Trimec is a fertilizer with a boadleaf post-emergent. The weed killer in this product will work when the weeds are up and activly growing. A 40 lb. bag will cover up to 10,000 sq. ft. of your lawn.
3rd Application: The third application should be applied between the end of August through September 15th. 25-00-15 is a slow-releasing fertilizer that contains sulfur and iron to keeep the greeen in your lawn. A 40 lb. bag will cover up to 10,000 sq. ft. of your lawn.
4th Application: The last step is usually applied sometime in late October before the snow starts to fly. 20-00-10 is a lawn thickener to feed the roots of your lawn. A 50 lb. bag will cover up to 10,000 sq. ft. of your lawn.
